Keira Knightley, who had two films in Toronto, Atonement (you know I love it) and Silk, in which she stars opposite Michael Pitt. He plays a former soldier who opens up a mysterious, silk trade route with Japan. The movie is a subtle examination of the power of love.
Keira, who should be an Oscar contender for Atonement, starts filming The Duchess with Ralph Fiennes and Hayley Atwell on Monday. There are 50 filming days and Keira’s on set for 49 of them. [source]
Knightley breaks £20K necklace on film set
Keira Knightley has revealed how she was left choked after breaking a £20,000 diamond necklace on the set of film Atonement.
The crew had to stop filming and spent 45 minutes trying to undo the Chanel pendant from the star’s neck after the clasp jammed. [read more]
