That isn’t very pleasing to here. I kind of though Keira Knightley was a little bit more…mature than that but hey; at least she got the role. I just hope this kind of thing doesn’t happen in the future.

Hayden, you’re right!And I think she is quite unhappy.She couldn’t handle things well recently.

I think we’re all taking this a LITTLE too seriously. I think it is adorable she was too nervous to just do it sober– Keira has a way of embellishing and if she was really a sloppy drunk, she never would have gotten the part! I love that she admits she has flaws, I think it endears her.

Little bit weird way to audition for a role, I think she only did it to feel more comfortable in the situation. I don’t think she drank that much though.. I’m glad she got the role! :)

I do agree with you Lola, I think EVERYONE gets nervous when auditioning too, for a role, but that fact that she (being such a talented actress as herself,) thought that a drink would help is just not really something someone of her stature should do. I mean, she’s a movie star, she has to realize that young girls look up to her.

But then again everyone makes mistakes. I am just concerned weather she considered that a mistake or not.

I don’t know if girls really look up to Keira, but if they do- she hasn’t been a very good role model. She curses in every interview, admits to enjoying her champagne and enjoying sex…I don’t think Keira Knightley is what six year olds aspire to be. That role is more filled by Miley Cyrus, especially as Keira ventures away from films like Pirates. I find Keira real, interesting and inspiring.

I think Keira was exaggerating a little when she says she got “drunk”. I think she was trying to be comedic for the interview.

She probably just drank a little at the restaurant (she auditioned for the producers at a swanky restaurant) in order to loosen up. If she had actuallly been drunk, I doubt she would have been hired. The producers, Duncan Kenworthy and Cameron Mackintosh, are both highly regarded and prestigious and certainly would not have hired a drunk lol

You’re probably right, Cal. And Lola, just becuase Keira isn’t a teenager from Disney Channel doesn’t mean girls don’t look up to Keira. I certianly do. I mean, when your in the limelight like Keira is there are always going to be people who admire and look up to you.

But I do agree with what you said about Keira being real, interesting, and inspiring. She always will be, [=
