Keira Knightley hates going to parties.

The actress - who was nominated for an Oscar for her role in 2005 movie ‘Pride and Prejudice’ - says despite her profession, she hates the partying lifestyle that comes with it.

She said: “I don’t like showbiz bashes very much. I’m not sociable and I seldom, if ever, set foot in any London clubs. I went to Vanity Fair magazine’s post-Oscars party last year but I just stood in the corner, drinking champagne. I have very few real showbusiness friends.”

Keira also revealed her biggest extravagance stems from her love of beautiful footwear.

She added: “If I see a pair of shoes that I adore and they haven’t got them in my size, I still have to have them. My boyfriend Rupert Friend and I just bought a house together in Richmond, Surrey, and it might not have a lot of furniture but it’s got a lot of my shoes!”

that’s why i like her sooo much, because she seems normal although her fame and money. and even we don’t see often her candids, i prefer to see them from time to time then have pictures of her drunk or without underwear. i really think that she is very special among other young hollywood stars. omg and im so happy that Keira and Rupert bought a house 2gether. i ve heard that surrey is really nice.

This news is very old. I don’t why these news agencies bring up old news. She said this about parties and shoes a long time ago. And in one her recent inteviews she said she gave up all of her shoes to a charity because she’s grown up. It’s there in scans of one of this September magazine. Search for it. You will find it. And it’s not even true that she bought a house. It’s only a rumor that Keira denied. And honestly she never talks about her boyfriend. There is no way she says, “My boyfriend Rupert Friend and I just….” Please be more careful about the accuracy of the news you post on youre site, Tathy!

i do have to agree with you about that article - she says that she doesn’t have a tv but would she then be able to watch her dvds of the wire?!
