Worthy winner Keira Knightley
‘Pride and Prejudice’ director Joe Wright says its “disgusting” Keira Knightley hasn’t won a BAFTA yet.
Wright, who also directs Keira in new movie ‘Atonement’, insists she should have been recognised by the British Academy of Film for her leading role as Elizabeth Bennett in ‘Pride and Prejudice’.
Wright fumed: “I thought it was disgusting and I still do that BAFTA snubbed her. She is someone who has had to learn her craft in public. She is a far better actress now than when she was 15, but that is hardly surprising.”

According to the site Daily Mail, Keira has confirmed her presence in a new movie call The Duchess which will be based in the book Duchess of Devonshire written by Amanda Foreman and will be directed by Saul Dibbs. The filmings should begin in October.

Keira Knightley will portray one of the most hunted women of her age, a celebrity who married an aristocrat - and just about the only man alive who wasn’t in love with her.No, not Diana, Princess of Wales, but one of her distant kin.

The fifth Duchess of Devonshire was a social powerhouse of the 18th century and Keira will portray her when cameras roll on The Duchess in October.
